Description

Mallory's trichrome stain(100 Tests) is utilized in histology to make known different macromolecules in the cell and to examine collagen connective tissue. It uses the following three dyes: aniline blue(for a selective collagen staining), acid fuchsin(for nuclear staining) and orange G(for cytoplasm). Therefore, this staining technique can reveal fibrils of collagen -intense blue- ,fibroglia, cytoplasm and neuroglia -red- , elastic fibrils, red blood cells and nucleoli -pink or yellow-.
